The only problem with the “zigzagging bullet” hypothesis is that it assumes that JFK and Connolly were seated one behind the other and facing forward. The fact is that Connolly was sitting inboard of JFK and lower than him. The governor was also turned. When you take the relative positions of Kennedy’s seat, the jump seat where the governor sat, and the angle from which Oswald fired, the bullet makes a very straight line…while still causing JFK’s back wound, his exit wound in his throat, as well as all of Connolly’s wounds. A straight line!
