The main reason of the soviet failure in Space race was the death of the chief engineer and scientist in soviet space program Sergei Korlyev. He was the driving force behind the soviet achievement in early 1960s. The loss of the leader of the space program was lethal. They were capable of sending the cosmonaut on the moon but they didnt have enough money to achieve that. And if sending the men on the moon is impossible how could the soviets send the turtles to the moon orbit and get them back alive with Zond 6 in 1968? The moon hoax believer say that the sending the men on the moon is impossible because of the fatal radiation from the sun but it seems like they dont know enough about Zond program. If Men can;t survive the fatal radiation from the sun, how the turtles and other biological payload in Zond 6 remained safe during the flight? Zond 6 fake too?
