Maybe you should actually learn something about Apollo before you make claims like that. Things did not go perfectly with Apollo. Every single Apollo mission had technical problems.
The three Apollo 1 astronauts (Gus Grissom, Ed White, and Roger Chaffee) died in a fire on the launchpad, and the Apollo 13 crew barely survived an explosion in their spacecraft.
The space shuttles may be more advanced, but they are also far more complicated… there is a lot more that can go wrong with them. Some people would even say the shuttles are a flawed design that make them more dangerous than a capsule design like Apollo or Soyuz.
