Are you serious? Techtonic plates do not shift or collide – as a matter of fact, they don’t even exist! Consider the fact that earth is just one giant rock with water weaving in and around its deepest pits with the peaks (what you believe is a tectonic plate) that are nothing more than the highest peaks of this giant rock sticking out above the waters surface. Why on earth would they move in the first place???
