well all I see is everyone picking a side. American is either fighting terror or focusing on the oil. Why cant it be both?
We have all experienced the heavy increases in oil Im sure. I think it would do some good for more oil to go into circulation.If it is a conspiracy, then so be it. If it changes the increasing oil prices, then awesome.
If they really are going for a war on terror, then cool. I’ve seen on the news of what has happened in the United States and I almost certain that similar things are happening in Iraq to its own people(prolly not on a very huge scale like 9/11 though). If the troops stationed there help both sides of the coin, then keep up the good work.
And now im getting sidetracked from my homework. Oopsie

Debi, Y would u say that US trying to have both-war against terror n Focusing on Oil?
What I felt was that US wanted to increase their weapon supplies to every country which fight terror..in that case, y would it fight terror? or, simply I would like to ask, Y would US try to destroy their own business? Will anybody cut the branch on the tree where they sit?
And talkin about oil, I think, US is in Iraq definitly for Oil..Y would Britian join the war with US? its for the same cause..Oil…Oil if posessed, could make you rich and help you to dominate the whole world..and well ! Everybody knows US…

If the war in Iraq was really about oil, we’d be paying 85 cents a gallon for gasoline. So far, the USA has gotten exactly ZERO barrels of oil from Iraq. All oil contracts in Iraq have been bought by European and Asian oil companies.

Right.. so you want to destroy another country’s resources to lower oil prices in ur own country? Really? HOW CAN U EVEN THINK THAT WAY? Would it be okay if another country invades YOUR country and steals their resources to the point where you’re left with nothing? Yeah thats justice!
Why did the US invade Iraq? Do u even know? They had reports that Iraq possessed Weapons of Mass Destruction. They had no right to invade in the first place. Didnt America itself start the nuclear era? Do u even know ur history? -,- Hiroshima and Nagasaki CHANGED the world. The US invaded, hanged THEIR leader trying to free the country of dictatorship. What a display of human rights.. then why did the iraqi ppl hate it? Around 103,013 – 112,571 civilians died. CIVILIANS! That word has a meaning! And according to wikileaks, an addition of 15,000 civilians deaths was there. You dont kill civilians in a war, dont u know?

America found no evidences of the presence of weapons of mass destruction. So many lives lost because of a false report. Bush was a great man indeed -.-
Iraqs oil resources were too exploited, oil tanks being set on fire, schools and houses bombed and what not. They did not fight terror, they multiplied it! This is the reason why hatred for america will never end. Oil was taken to america, there can not be another explanation.

We have been taken to the cleaners many times — The Great Depression — Threat of communism — war after war — Savings and Loan Crisis $500 billion — Oil embargo — our new financial crisis --> Trillions
War in Iraq — second largest oil field — we use 25% of the worlds oil — we truck food and goods on average 1500 miles — we drive alone is our vehicles — we just don’t want to look too deep !
The U.S. taxpayer is getting raped !
