Comment on CIA Conspiracy Theories by Ryan Kent.

I find it hilarious that most amateur conspiracy theorists use terms like “wake up” and “open your eyes.” It’s called Loading the Language. Glenn Beck used those terms and all of Fox News followed suit because they have millions of followers. So if these millions hear from a “trusted” source that they need to wake up or open their eyes, these followers feel like they are about to receive a major dose of “truth.”
It’s the same on sites, radio shows, and books like this site. You know people are curious about the goings-on in the world, so you say “wake up” “open your eyes” and say things like “think for yourself” and “stop being sheep/mindless zombies/robots.” You know it will pass along your doctrine easier. But you fail to disclose that the information you have to impart didn’t come from your own in-depth research. It came from websites, tv shows, books, and radio shows that all fall to the knees of the government’s scrutiny.
Your claims of how shady and corrupt the government is. Examples of their acts of evil and power. Yet they can’t seem to keep you bell ringers quiet? They can’t shut down a website like this one?
I know the government does some of the shiftiest, darkest things behind its people’s backs. I know they’ve tried brainwashing through MKUltra and made many of us disappear for their own reasons. They’ve even admitted it. But come on: ride your own horse and tell the public something new instead of repeating what you hear or read from other people.

Grow a set. Be original. Do your homework before you try to mislead others.
