Good afternoon, there is a lot of information on your website and your external sources are numerous and very informative. My name is Melissa, I’m with the Mesothelioma & Asbestos Cancer Resource Center and I think I have a useful resource for your readers. There were a number of issues that were not addressed or ignored after the collapse of the World Trade Center, the clean-up process was a huge one. The way that FEMA and the government handled that clean-up was abysmal. The dedicated, selfless volunteer workers were knowingly exposed to this dangerous dust and were not given the property safety materials. This contains information regarding asbestos exposure after the crumbling of the towers, and some time thereafter. It also focuses on the fact that almost 400,000 metric tons of asbestos was released into the air during that time.
For a quick explanation, we concentrate solely on the knowledge of, and the issues stemming from mesothelioma and asbestos cancer. So in our efforts to provide patients, caregivers, and even potential patients with every treatment option possible to help fight this terrible disease, we ask for your support by providing a link from your website to ours. We can also provide written content about mesothelioma that you can use for a more extensive exploration of the disease on your own site.
You will notice some characteristics that separate us from the typical mesothelioma website. Our site has been personally reviewed by a New York State board certified oncologist, and many of its pages are accompanied by video narration for easy understanding. And of course we feature the credible, thorough, content that remains our central purpose.
