  • The 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami was, in my opinion a terrorist attack by the Jemaah Islamiyah -- a Southeast Asian branch of Al-Qaeda. By causing a catastrophic disaster among their people, it helped pour nearly $3 billion in aid relief to the countries affected by it. Some of that aid relief will fund future terrorist activities. When disaster strikes, humanitarian aid usually comes first from the US then followed by other NATO nations. The countries that are fighting terrorism worldwide are the countries that are helping finance terrorists through humanitarian aid. This is disturbing. Any thoughts out there?

    • And how, pray tell, does a Southeast Asian branch of Al Qeada *cause* a tsunami that large? We’d be talking about weapons more powerful than what the US and Russia have in their nuclear arsenals. If Al Qeada had weapons that powerful, they wouldn’t be a terrorist organization, they’d be a world power.

  • A natural disaster can’t be a conspiracy. It’s like saying tornados are caused by FEMA and floods are caused by the National Guard. To think it’s even possible to create a tsunami and direct the water accurately is proof you watch too much 007.
